- Subsequently employed as Assistant General Counsel at Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio. Re-joined Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP as a partner in 2010.
- Graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, with honors
- Admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Ohio, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio
- Member of the Columbus, Ohio and American Bar Associations
- Is a lifelong resident of Upper Arlington, where he resides with his wife, Sharon, and their two children
