• Became affiliated with CPM Government Relations, Ltd. in July 2008
• Elected to a four-year term as Delaware County Commissioner beginning January 1, 2011
• Served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1996 – 2003, representing the 88th District; during that time he was Chairman of the Ohio House Insurance Committee, Chairman of the Finance Sub-Committee for Agriculture & Development, Vice-Chairman of Financial Institutions and a member of the Education, Retirement and State Government Committees
• In 2002 he was named the Industry Person of the Year by the Professional Insurance Agents Association and the Legislator of the Year for the Ohio Hospice Association
• After 25 years of owning his own insurance and financial planning agency, served in 2003 and 2004 as Assistant Director of the Ohio Department of Insurance
• Served as Director of Government Relations for the Office of the Ohio Consumers' Counsel, the state's utility advocate, 2004-2008
• Graduated from The University of Dayton, with a B.A., magna cum laude, in Broadcast Journalism
• Enjoys golf and amateur theatre
