 My clients come to me during one of the most painful and confusing times of their lives, and the part of my job I love the most is helping them work through the legal maze during this very difficult time.

• Practice focus: Family Law
• Prior to deciding on a law career, enjoyed a successful career in communications, public relations and advertising
• Has practiced law for nearly 20 years with a focus in the areas of collaborative law, mediation, divorce and custody, local government law, public records and open meetings
• Co-author of the Home Rule Handbook for Ohio Townships; a highly trained and experienced mediator
• Inducted into the 2009 Fellows Class of the Ohio State Bar Foundation.  Membership is extended only to lawyers whose careers have demonstrated their dedication to the highest ideals of the legal profession and the welfare of their community.
• Member of: the Columbus Bar Association and its Family Law Committee; the Ohio State Bar Association and its Family Law Committee; Columbus Divorce Professionals, Inc. • Previously on the adjunct faculty of Columbus State Community College; taught legal research and writing
• Has been a speaker for the local and state bar on collaborative law and alternative dispute resolution techniques in child custody and divorce
• Undergraduate degree from Miami University of Ohio; J.D. from Capital University Law School
• Has three children who are active in sports and school.  When not running around with children, hobbies include competitive swimming, fitness, taking in the wide array of experiences in Columbus, reading and playing with her two dogs.
